Benefits for Consumers Using Solar Power

Staber gives alternative energy users the most efficient washer available for handling their laundry needs. The Staber washer runs very efficiently, operating on only 110–150 watt-hours of electricity per wash load. It uses about 5-6 amps during the wash cycle, and surges to about 11 amps when the motor starts. We recommend a minimum of a 1,500 watt inverter to be used with our Staber washer, with an output of exactly between 110-120VAC and 60Hz. to operate correctly.

Unlike other washing machine manufacturers, the warranty is not voided when used on a solar power source. This, while using an average of only 15 gallons of water per load make the Staber the most energy efficient washer available and the best choice for consumers living "off-grid."

The unit comes with a manufacturer’s warranty on parts. Staber washers are designed to be serviced by the customer. Total front access and simple design allows the customer to maintain and service their machine without having to pay large repair bills. Staber Industries offers guidance on do-it-yourself maintenance and repair. All replacement parts are shipped factory direct by UPS or USPS to the customer.

Staber Warranty

• One-year full on parts and labor
• Five-year limited on the bearing assembly and suspension system
• Twenty-five year limited on the stainless steel outer tub.

For a period from the date of original purchase through the times listed above, the designated parts which fail in normal commercial use will be repaired or replaced free of charge for the part itself, with the owner paying all other costs, including labor, transportation and customs duty. Chemical damage and/or misuse is excluded from all warranty coverage. See complete warranty in owner's manual for details (call our Service Department at 614-548-0098).

If required, service is one of the benefits of our Staber washer’s design. It is designed to be end user repairable, even if you are not ‘mechanically-inclined’. We do not require authorized service technicians for service on our washer. There is total front access to the parts, no transmission to worry about, and fewer overall moving parts. If a customr has a service question, they call our service department and tell us the symptom over the phone. We can either help them fix it over the phone or if they need a part we send it via UPS, FedEx, or U.S. Postal Service.
